Hello fellow student leaders!

Currently it is late summer, early fall...  I don't mean to be Captain Obvious, BUT, do you know what this season means?  community festivities, of course!  It always seems like some town/city or other near you is having a festival around times like this, doesn't it?  Is your council/chapter involved in it?  Get involved! It's a great way to raise money.

So, school has started and already my priorities are out of wack, yah feel me? Seriously, between my course schedule, applying for college, school, work, dual enrollment, student council. my class, and friends, I wonder how I sleep at night. These things are tough to balance and I know I am not the only one trying to do it so here is what I have come up with along with an attachment of my own schedule as an example.

First PRIORITIZE! then figure out specifically what you need to do within each priority
for me that means.....
1. school (grades)
a. AP Literature
b. AP Calc
c. Journalism
d. Career Seminar
e. Multicultural Communications
2. COLLEGE! AHHH
a. find what schools are in my top 5
b. start apps
c. ask for letters of recommendation

Schools across Michigan are doing GREAT work making their schools, communities and the events/activities they facilitate more earth-friendly. Please share with us what your school is doing to be more "green".
