As I sit here looking at my first college exam I can’t say that I’m too happy with the results. I think back to my days in high school when everything came to me so simply. I was able to study the same amount as I did for this exam, but earn a way better grade than what I just received. Earning this grade really has allowed me to reflect on what the idea of scholarship really means to me.

"Mr. K" Summer Leadership Camp Scholarship
Submitted by Todd on Fri, 04/23/2010 - 10:33.
The Michigan Association of Student Councils and Honor Societies lost a dear friend in February 2007. Mr. Jack Kalousek taught and advised at Franklin High School (Livonia, Michigan) for 12 years and was serving as their Student Activities' Director. He was passionate about student leadership and providing students opportunities to grow. His involvement at the local, state and national level was matched by very few advisers in Michigan.. He was well-known, respected, loved and treasured by advisers and students throughout Michigan and he will be dearly missed.

For the second year in a row, SET-SEG School Insurance Specialists awarded $5,000 worth of summer scholarships to schools in Michigan! This generous program provides schools that have a desire to send students to camp need financial assistance in doing so, with the funds to send students. The students will join us in July at our Summer Leadership Camp.
Congratulations to the following schools who will receive scholarship money from SET-SEG for the 2008 Camp:
