Hello everyone,

As you all know we have this wonderful new website. I know that I am very excited to have it up and running and to be able to use it. This is where you will find all of the Center 7 Center spotlights. I will also be able to update anytime and let you all know if anythinig interesting or exciting is happening.

I hope that everyone is having a great year and that my blog space will be used to help you.

What is the difference between an MAHS membership and an NHS or NJHS membership?

MAHS membership does not include NHS membership. NHS membership does not include MAHS membership. Let's refer to them as State (MAHS) and National (NHS) to make it more clear. The State membership grants you reduced rates at all MAHS conferences for students and Advisers, various communication services including an e-newsletter, exclusive access to our website, and other benefits. The National membership grants you reduced rates at National conferences, subscription to Leadership magazine, insignia, and certain access to materials.

Hey Centers 5 & 6!

It's really cool to be using this website and being able to blog from home. If you're not a member yet, create an account on the bar to your right! There's lots of cool information available to members. Check out the new stuff on the Regional Conferences! There is going to be two conferences held in Centers 5 and 6. One is March 5, 2008 @ Saginaw Valley State University, University Center and the other will be held in the Lansing area, TBD. Your school can attend any regional conference they choose, but those are the closest ones. Regionals includes student presenters, swap shops, and a lot more cool leadership info. They are really beneficial to anyone who attends; I highly recommend it!
