REGISTRATION:
Saturday April 5th, 2008 3:00-6:00 PM

  • Registration will take place in the Michigan Ballroom, on the main floor.
  • If you have NOT submitted your Tax Exempt Form to the Grand Traverse for your room reservations yet, you must bring that with you in order to avoid paying the state sales tax!
  • Students should stay on the bus/car while you come in to register (a student liaison from Avondale High School will be there to greet you, and explain the procedure). Once you have the student's room keys and the conference supplies, you should return to the bus, distribute everything, and then bring your group into the hotel and directly to their hotel rooms to unload luggage.
  • Keep in mind that dinner IS NOT included on Saturday night, so please arrive in plenty of time for your group to either go out to eat, or to have dinner in the hotel (a list of nearby dining locations can be found in your adviser binder which you will receive when you register).
  • All student permission, medical, and adviser agreement forms must be turned in at registration (preferably in order by last name). Don't have your forms? Print them from our website!
  • You must check into the hotel separately, through the hotel registration desk. Sometimes it's easier to do this FIRST, then get your big bags from us! Or, you can check in with us, send the supplies back to the students on the bus, then check in with the hotel.
  • If all of your rooms are not ready, we have asked Grand Traverse to make sure that at least one room per school is available so that you have somewhere to hand out supplies, regroup, and store luggage.

MIXERS:
Saturday April 5th, 2008 3:00-6:50 PM Lower Level
This year students will have the opportunity to participate in six unique styles of mixers in rooms Peninsula B&C, Mackinac B&C, Mackinac A, Tower A, Tower B, and Tower C. Please encourage your students to check them out and meet students from all different schools!

GROUP PHOTOS:
Each council will have the opportunity to have a group photo taken downstairs in PENINSULA A. Please make sure that you have your picture taken sometime between 3:00-6:00 PM!

MANDATORY ADVISER AND CHAPERONE MEETING:
Saturday April 5th, 2008 6:10 PM TBA at Registration

PARADE OF SCHOOLS:
Saturday April 5th, 2008 7:00 PM Governor's Hall
This year there will be a parade of schools at the opening ceremony, however you don't have to worry about bringing a banner with your school's name-it will be provided for you. We just ask that you choose two representatives from your school to carry the banner in the parade; they will be given more instructions at the ceremony.
