Arrival for the Senior High School Leadership Camp will be on Sunday, July 24, 2011. You should NOT arrive before 11:30am, as there will NOT be staff there to guide, greet, or check you in. Registration will continue until 2:00pm with the program beginning at 2:30pm. Pleas follow parking signs and staff to registration at BALDWIN HALL.
On Friday, July 29, 2011 our closing ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30am. Parents, drivers, and guardians are all welcome to join us on the quad in front of Baldwin Hall for this 15 minute presentation. Campers will be permitted to pack up and check out immediately following.
Many people contact MASC/MAHS regarding conflicts of schedules, and whether a student participant has the option to leave early/arrive late. All exceptions to the general rule must be made and documented with the camp director, Todd Burlingham (who can be reached at todd@mascmahs.org.
As general rules, we do not recommend that your student arrives late or leaves early. Each year, we see the difficulty placed on the curriculum, group dynamics, and flow of the entire week strained by a group losing a member at the end of the week or having a group member arrive late. It is for this reason that we cannot allow arrivals AFTER mid-day on Monday (for both camps) and departures BEFORE Tuesday afternoon for JAM (Junior High and Middle Level) camp and Thursday afternoon for SHS (Senior High School) camp. However, even in these instances--documentation and approval must be cleared through the camp director in writing.
If your situation fits the bill, please download and return the late arrival/early departure form at the link below. Late arrivals should have this mailed or faxed NO LATER than July 11, 2011. Early departures may simply bring their form to check in.
