Center 5 Spotlight

Submitted by pinklanie on Thu, 11/06/2008 - 20:01.

I know a lot of things have been going on around our area including football playoffs [congrats to hemlock and linden among many others who faired wonderflly this season], to homecomings. I can speak for Fenton, Kearsley as well as Clio in saying that they all went wonderfully. Many of us get busy this time of year and forget what student council is absed around, but now that we are entering the "holiday season" I believe it is time to reawaken the giver inside of each of us. Talk to your council and your advisor about what you'll be doing to help the community this winter, will you be doign a canned food drive? Maybe helping out with coats for kids? Possible working a soup kitchen.

Hey guys! I just wnated to tell you guys a bit about myself since you all will be hearing from and seeing a lot of me for the next year or so. Well, my name is Ellaine Ursuy, and I am your center 5 MAHS representative. I attend Clio high school as a junior and I am on the executive board in my student council. I do a lot with a million things in the school, but what i love the most is the fall sports season. I know typically you think of turf and field goals but i think of lane lines and cholrine. Yes, I swim and its one of my many passions. I was a level two at camp this past year and it changed my life. So far as our center spotlight goes, I wanted to simply let you guys know that Clio looks forward to seeing you at the upcomiong FTI which are on the 30fh by the way.
