Hello center 12!

Hopefully all of you freshmen, sophomores, and new members have attended a Fall Training Institute in the last month. I know many of them went over well, and I got tons of positive feedback from you all! The next thing on MASC/MAHS's plate are regional conferences. They are a great opportunity for students to get a feel for the state conference in April. A regional conference is one school day long, and there will be multiple locations for you to choose from. Regionals are also where certain students from all over the area each give a presentation. If the presentation is well received, the student(s) will present at the state conference. I hope you all keep regionals in mind, as they are coming up quickly! I wish you all a happy thanksgiving!

Hello center 12! I hope you are all getting ready to go back to school, and I hope everyone's summer was nice and long. Along with the school year, fall training institutes will be in the works, and should be starting in late October and early November. I will have more information on Fall Training Institutes that would be most convenient for center 12 to attend (distance-wise). As you may or may not know, this year's sate charity is the Penrickton Center for Blind Children. The state-wide goal is to raise $1 per student from at least 100 schools across the state.

Hello to everybody in center 12, my name is Katie Parent and I will be your new center rep. I am a junior at Troy High School, and I am an active member of our student Government. In the 2008-2009 school year, I will serve as the Vice President of the Troy executive board, and I am very excited to do so.
