Every day you should appreciate your teachers, but NOW is the time to appreciate your teachers by doing something special.
Our Student Council is doing what is called "T3." (Terrific Teacher Thursday) We are making beautiful signs to hang above their doors, not only for decoration, but to help parents locate rooms during parent-teacher conferences. We are also writing a special thank-you notes and making balloon flowers and palm trees. (one of our staff knows how to do this.) We have made announcements so that the entire school is aware, and so when Terrific Teacher Thursday comes, they can say "thank you" in appreciation of their teachers. We've also, in the past, painted rocks and writing "You Rock!" on them, and gave them guitar 'stress-balls' because "they rock."
Hopefully you can also do something special for your teachers. They deserve it for all of their hard work and preparing you for your future.
